Required Skills: •Lead and mentor a team of ERP developers, analysts and application support staff, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery of development projects and production support. •Own the ERP application lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and post-implementation support for JD Edwards and related systems on IBM iSeries. •Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, warehouse and supply chain stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements and system configurations. •Design and oversee customizations, extensions and integrations using RPG, SQL and other relevant technologies, ensuring code quality, performance and maintainability. •Manage third-party vendors and consultants, coordinate upgrades, patches and system migrations, and ensure minimal disruption to operations. •Implement and maintain best practices for change management, release management, incident management and documentation. •Develop and monitor key performance indicators for application uptime, support response times and project delivery; drive continuous improvement initiatives. •Ensure compliance with security standards, data integrity and backup/recovery procedures on IBM i and surrounding infrastructure. Qualifications: •Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. •Proven experience with RPG development and SQL (querying, performance tuning, stored procedures). •Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and warehouse management systems, with experience implementing ERP solutions in a manufacturing or distribution environment. •Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing application projects, vendors and upgrades. •Operational familiarity with enterprise integration technologies (APIs, middleware, EDI) and best practices for application lifecycle and release management. •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences. •Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
