Hiring: Engineering Technician Company: CTDI Location: South Bend, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:34:23 About the job Experience: •5+ years of experience with building and automation equipment maintenance. •18 years of age Required Skills: •Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. •Maintenance of mechanical equipment. •Understanding of equipment operation and basic troubleshooting for equipment controls (PLC, WES, WCS). •Maintain daily logs, perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments as needed to keep the automation equipment in good working order. •Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution. This may require non-shift work. •Assist with any automation system installation and retrofits as needed. •Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives. •Interface directly with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent.
