Hiring: Engineering Technical Writer Company: FEDITC Location: Texarkana, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:04:39 Target Skills & Keywords : Security Clearance About the job Required Skills: •Prepare instruction manuals, technical manuals, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information within the GSCE program. •Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among GSCE programs and partners, and work with program leaders and staff to manage the flow of information among project work groups. •Collect and organize information required for the preparation of military technical publications (print Technical Manual (TM)s and/or electronic TMs). •Research source data provided by Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). •Develop integrated art and text during publishing to ensure a logical, accurate, and easy to read format. •Support logisticians, provisioners, engineers, and quality control technical personnel throughout the manual development process. •Provide desktop publishing support in the production of technical manuals, repair parts lists, and other technical publications. •Research technical source data, nomenclature, and National Stock Numbers (NSNs), including use of WebFLIS. Qualifications: •Strong technical writing, research, organization, and communication skills. •Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required. •Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
