Hiring: Engineering Techician II Company: Geosyntec Consultants Location: Kennesaw, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 12:23:04 Employment Type: Contract / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Microsoft Excel, Quality Assurance About the job Required Skills: •Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, aggregates, and other materials primarily associated with landfill and/or waste containment system construction •Monitor contractor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g., technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.) •Provide CQA observation and monitoring on several types of construction and/or environmental activities on enviro-civil construction sites •Perform multi-media sampling in support of investigations, monitoring programs, and other data collection centric projects. •Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports •Ensure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures •Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communications and participation •Assist in the preparation of the final data packages, health and safety documents, and the assembly of report appendices Qualifications: •High school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience or an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college and the ability to monitor several different types of construction and environmental activities simultaneously.
