Hiring: Engineering Supervisor Company: NBCUniversal Location: Glendale, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 13:11:35 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems, Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •7+ years of experience in building engineering or a related field Required Skills: •Execute weekly workplans, including preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work orders assigned through the CMMS and mobile platforms •Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, equipment performance, repair history, and costs in the CMMS •Work closely with the Chief Engineer to provide support for central chiller plants and other critical infrastructure supporting the sites, data centers, and critical spaces •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including critical infrastructure, to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe operations •Partner with Facility Operations on all MEP and critical infrastructure preventative maintenance programs •Participate and provide support for annual LAFD REG4 testing •Monitor N4 building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy use, systems performance, and maintain comfortable environments for employees and guests. Provide updates to management and Central Monitoring teams on alarms and impacts on operations •Work closely with the Critical Infrastructure System team on the ArcGIS platform, projects and emergency response strategies Qualifications: •Cool Under Pressure – You handle stressful situations with ease and professionalism while juggling multiple stakeholders and competing priorities •Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal •Tech-savvy – You are an MS Office whiz and can take on new software with ease •High school diploma, GED, or equivalent •Solid functional working knowledge of Class A commercial building operations and applicable fire/life safety testing requirements, including Los Angeles REG 4 where relevant. •Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems (BAS), including the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate repairs. •Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and energy efficiency practices. •Valid state Class C Driver’s License •Associates degree or technical certification in building systems •OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification, or ability to obtain/maintain certification within a company-designated timeframe.
