Required Skills: •Serve as the primary technical liaison between project manager and staff on assigned projects and manage completion of technical elements on projects. •Provide Management with technical assistance and supervision in the preparation of Proposals, Expression of Interest, and Contracts for assigned projects. •Maintain and utilize working knowledge of accepted engineering design standards, industry standards, scientific principals, regulatory programs, and field standards and practices in the execution of design work as directed by your supervisor and which conforms to company standards. •Foster the use of innovative concepts in the development of project design and in the preparation of proposals. •Assist with project manager’s efforts to prepare for and/or attend client/agency meetings with, or for PM’s to present information pertinent to the project. Develop innovative, comprehensive multimedia support materials for client and/or agency meetings. •Ensure compliance with, and provide guidance pertaining to complicated, discipline specific (area of expertise) QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) policies and procedures. •Manage and review project schedules, budgets and QA/QC plans. •Manage phase budget and schedule. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. •10-12+ year in related field. •Professional Engineer (PE) license required. •Demonstrated capacity to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. •Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other related software. •Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite). •Excel in the ability to learn, apply and teach others technical skills and knowledge. •Demonstrate advanced investigative, analytical and research skills. •Demonstrate level of knowledge required to serve as a technical resource for advanced engineering principles and design skills within an area of specialty.
