Hiring: Engineering Project Manager Company: Syngenta Location: Pasco, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:15:55 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, R About the job Experience: •5 years of experience •At least 5 years of experience Required Skills: •Syngenta Seeds brings farmers more vigorous, stronger, resistant plants, including innovative hybrid varieties and biotech crops that can thrive even in challenging growing conditions. •Syngenta Seeds is headquartered in the United States. •Deliver Part Of The Syngenta Capital Investment Program By Direct management of engineering capital and significant repair and maintenance projects; ensuring the timely implementation of new or improved assets consistent with business requirements and within agreed cost and safety parameters. •Providing expert advice and direction to others by the timely application of technical and/or project management professionalism at key points in the project process. •Through close liaison with finance, Procurement, legal, SPR, process engineers, automation engineers and key stakeholders, ensure that capital projects use fit-for-purpose engineering solutions and meet Syngenta HSE requirements. •Manage projects directly: Agree, set, and achieve challenging success criteria for projects and formulate and deliver project execution strategies to achieve delivery through a project team composed mainly of third parties (e.g. Syngenta staff, design and construction contractors and equipment suppliers) •Interface directly with project owners to shape project scope. This often requires holding large areas of ambiguity before a project scope is finalised in a Terms of Reference •Define, estimate, deliver, track, and report safety, costs, and physical progress of individual capital projects Qualifications: •University degree (BS min or equivalent) in chemical/industrial engineering, electrical engineering mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering/biology/agronomy/food science •Demonstrates experience in operational manufacturing sites and construction •Leading a high-performance project team of internal and external resources •Engineering for a range of facility types (e.g., manufacturing, processing, commercial, laboratory) •Country legal and compliance requirements •Understanding risk in engineering activity •Understanding the external supply base •Management of engineering suppliers and contractors Compensation: •Full Benefit Package (Medical, Dental & Vision) that starts your first day Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
