Required Skills: •Prepare baseline environmental surveys and site assessments •Prepare and support NEPA documentation •Participate in and/or lead stormwater planning, design, and permitting projects •Participate and/or lead CERCLA feasibility studies, remedial investigations, and remediation design support •Requires strong technical report writing, data analysis, and coordination with project managers and regulators •Direct the project, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of the project to the client’s satisfaction and in compliance with scope of work and quality and professional standards. •Ensure that projects are completed in a cost-efficient manner with adherence to budgetary constraints. Provide the client with the best results at the lowest practical cost. •Lead the technical support personnel and/or design team for assigned projects. Assume responsibility for all design decisions for the assigned projects and for validating the work of professional and technical staff assigned to each project. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or equivalent field) from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) accredited program. •Independent proficiency in the application of their technical field. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead a project team through design phases. •Effective basic project management and financial skills. •Effective verbal and written communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to analyze, interpret, and present engineering concepts, designs, and data. •Demonstrated capacity to meet time-sensitive deadlines. •Demonstrated capacity to carry out multiple priorities simultaneously. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office® software. •Proficiency in computer-aided analysis and drafting technologies.
