Required Skills: •Lead and develop the electrical engineering team, with oversight of PCB engineering and organizational leadership of the mechanical engineering team. •Establish technical direction for power electronics architecture, design methodologies, and hardware platforms. •Architect and review power stages for motor drives and AC/DC conversion topologies, including component selection, derating, efficiency, thermal performance, and reliability. •Guide development of gate drive circuits, current/voltage sensing, protection, and analog front-end conditioning. •Oversee development and tuning of analog control loops and filters for power conversion and motor drive applications. •Develop differential and common-mode filtering strategies to meet EMI/EMC requirements. •Oversee auxiliary and bias power supply design, including isolated and non-isolated architectures. •Establish expectations for loss, thermal, and derating analysis and verify design margins through testing. Qualifications: •; 15+ years preferred. •Strong technical leadership and architecture experience. •Prior people management experience preferred, but deep technical leadership is the primary priority. •Strong background in analog closed-loop control design, including stability analysis, compensation, and filtering. •Hands-on experience designing linear and switching power supplies, including isolated and non-isolated systems. •And at least one of MATLAB/Simulink or Mathcad •Knowledge of PCB layout considerations for high-power-density and low-EMI designs, including creepage/clearance, current return paths, dV/dt, and thermal considerations. •U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency required.
