Required Skills: •Serve as the on-site engineering representative in Indianapolis for Combustor and Structural Components (CSC), acting as the key link between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. •Partner with internal shops, suppliers, and design teams to improve producibility, process capability, and manufacturing readiness to support on-time engine delivery. •Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support by identifying and driving actions that improve the integration of design and manufacturing across CSC hardware. •Execute the design, analysis, and technical evaluation of assigned mechanical engineering projects in alignment with product requirements, engineering standards, and business processes. •Use sound engineering judgment to solve complex technical and operational problems involving manufacturing, product support, and process execution. •Lead or support moderately complex technical projects, working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to deliver practical, timely solutions. •Drive continuous improvement by challenging inefficient or outdated methods and recommending better technical or manufacturing approaches. •Work closely with engineers across multiple disciplines, as well as manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams, to resolve issues and align on technical decisions.
