Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one to two (1-2) years experience in general maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. •Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License. •Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance field related to or applicable to the hospitality or service industry. •Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance field related to facilities or building maintenance where job responsibilities included aspects significantly comparable to the maintenance and repair of the electrical and mechanical systems pertinent to the facility. •Completed 18 credit hours trade-related (pertinent to trades required in the position) coursework at a trade school, university or college (Electrical, mechanical, HVAC, Industrial, facility or building maintenance, machine tool technology). Transcripts required. •Verifiable Documentation of personal experience and practical demonstration of proficiency within technical areas pertinent to the position. •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. •Also required are frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping; lifting, climbing steps and sitting. •Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. •Horseshoe Indianapolis is a smoking establishment.
