Required Skills: •Energize your Career at SECO Energy! •Minimum Required Qualifications And Competencies •Advanced knowledge of electrical theory, residential and commercial energy assessments, metering technologies (including Advanced Metering Infrastructure), HVAC systems, thermography, renewable energy systems, surge protection, and energy usage investigations. •Solid functional working knowledge of HVAC systems, building envelope performance, water heating, appliances, electrical equipment, thermography, renewable energy systems, distributed generation and emerging energy technologies. •Demonstrated knowledge of energy audits, high energy usage investigations, interval usage analysis, and methods for identifying factors contributing to abnormal or elevated energy consumption. •Knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, distributed energy resources, Solar Interconnection Agreements, applicable interconnection requirements, and net metering or distributed generation tariffs. •Knowledge of Surge Protection, GenerLink, and related member energy products and services. •Demonstrated capacity to evaluate emerging technologies, programs, products, and services based on member benefit, operational impact, financial considerations, risk, and organizational objectives. Qualifications: •Minimum: Four (4) year bachelor’s degree in business energy management or related technical field. •Preferred: Master’s degree in energy management. •Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. •Demonstrated capacity to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines and telephones. •Demonstrated capacity to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations. •A valid Florida driver’s license for regular driving privileges of a company vehicle; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by SECO Energy. •Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
