Required Skills: •Emerging risks shape the future of the insurance industry. •As an Emerging Issues Research Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in helping property/casualty insurers understand that future. •We’re looking for an experienced Property and Casualty industry professional with excellent presentation and research skills—someone who understands how the insurance product development, underwriting, and claims process works and can clearly articulate deeply researched, often technical subjects to a professional audience. •As a member of Verisk’s Core Lines Services division, the Analyst will also work closely with subject matter experts across the Verisk enterprise to ensure their expertise and views are reflected in the material presented to customers. •Researching and delivering presentations on emerging risks for a P/C insurance audience—in 1:1 customer workshops (on-site or virtual); at webinars; at industry conferences. •Coordinating research efforts across multiple Verisk business units. •Authoring long-form research reports on emerging risks. •Staying informed on key industry trends. Qualifications: •Exceptional presentation and communication skills and executive presence. •Industry accreditation (i.e. CPCU) preferred but not required. •The ability to conduct deep research using academic sources across a variety of subjects and distill that information into insurance-relevant presentations and reports. •Solid proficiency of PowerPoint required •Proficiency with data visualization tools preferred. •Project management skills. •Demonstrated capacity to set and meet commitments in high production environment to achieve tight deadlines and quality expectations. •For over 50 years, Verisk has been the leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry by delivering value to our clients through expertise and scale.
