Required Skills: •Ensuring that the organization is prepared to respond in the event of an emergency. •Ensuring that the Emergency Plan requirements are appropriately and effectively implemented. •Monitoring performance of Emergency Planning organization and Emergency Response organizations. •Maintaining the Emergency Plan and implementing procedures. •Maintaining cognizance of outstanding industry issues. •Ensuring the the emergency facilities are maintained so that they function properly in the event of an emergency. •Supports the ongoing operations of the fleet and is jointly accountable with fleet personnel for the fleet meeting its excellence plan. Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations, guidelines, emergency preparedness programs, power plant operations, training methods and dose projection models. •Associates degree or higher in a technical discipline desired.
