Hiring: Emergency Management Specialist Company: DLA Careers Location: Round Hill, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 20:39:50 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Top Secret Clearance About the job Required Skills: •Supports planning and operations in support of Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and National Security/Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP). •Analyzes operational requirements, and documentation to ensure goals and objectives are consistent with policy constraints, and overall TFSO objectives and management intent. •Serves as an Assistant Project Manager / Operational Planning Team member in developing operational support programs and establishes appropriate communication channels to support mission requirements. •Acts as an Action Officer in support of specific operations and tasks, and facilitates logistic, engineering, personnel, security, and budget tasks at the work site. •Participates in after action development, readiness reporting, and operational impact assessments. •Directs fielding development for new technologies and tracks status of implementation of those technologies. Qualifications: •Must be a U.S. citizen •Tour of Duty: Set Schedule •Security: Required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI and SAPs); including submitting to background checks as a condition of employment and/ or continued access to Special Access Programs. •Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal. •Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt •Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. •Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities.
