Coordinates and requests keys for new researchers consistent with UT and EME key issuance policies. Responsible for the EME space inventory and maintenance of space records. •Serve as a liaison to UTPD, the UT Association of Lab Managers, and the UT Emergency Management Division. Develops and maintains building-specific emergency preparedness protocols and coordinates staff training accordingly. and helps ensure compliance with safety standards. •Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field •Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/manager capacity •Demonstrated experience managing building maintenance, building systems, facility projects, contractors, and vendors •Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems •Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and facilities management best practices •Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders •Demonstrated organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail •Demonstrated capacity to respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation as needed •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized work order or facilities management systems •Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
