Hiring: Embroidery Development Specialist Company: Weezie Location: Austell, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 07:42:34 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : R, Stitch About the job Required Skills: •Strategically drive development of embroidery, appliqué, custom logo, icons, and customization capabilities, translating original design intent into production-ready, manufacturable designs across our product portfolio •Own design specifications, including sizing, placement, character counts, stitch types, densities, and paths, so each design executes as intended •Train to become our expert in our embroidery software and design programs: handle digitization and template creation, manage the upfront development process with software and digitizing partners, and serve as our design-side expert on font/template management and launch prep •Serve as our design-for-manufacturing expert, reviewing new designs and logos against production capabilities and run rate, flagging adjustments before they reach the production floor, and building mockups, stitch-outs, and customer and photoshoot samples to the highest standards for approval before launch •Develop custom logo and corporate gifting requests from concept through client-approved, production-ready file, in partnership with Business Development •Partner cross-functionally with Design and Fulfillment on a continuous improvement program for post-launch customization quality, assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting root-cause issues in templates, digitization, or specs. •Test and evaluate new substrates, product placements, equipment, and customization methods to expand our capabilities, and maintain organized file systems, version control, and documentation for production files Qualifications: •Hands-on embroidery design and execution experience in a commercial environment •Strong design eye combined with technical know-how, able to take a creative concept and figure out how to actually bring it to life •Comfortable assessing designs against machine capability, and flagging adjustments early •In-depth knowledge of stitch types, underlay, density, pull compensation, sequencing, hooping/clamping, and stabilizers. •Broad understanding of different substrates and materials and how they interact in the embroidery process. •Strong cross-functional communicator, able to liaise effectively with Design, Ops, and Web •Interest in R&D (testing new substrates, equipment, or customization methods) •Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously. •Operational familiarity with Tajima embroidery machines and Pulse digitizing software is a plus. •Problem-solving and time management skills Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •1 year of service, $3,000 travel credit after 3 years of service, and a 5-week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
