Required Skills: •Technical Leadership •Lead the architecture, design, development, and enhancement of edge application software fora connected automotive data logging and IoT platform, including vehicle data acquisition, cloud telemetry, data upload, and OTA application and firmware update workflows. •Own software delivery across the full lifecycle, including planning, implementation, integration, validation, release, and sustainment. •Drive robust solutions for edge-to-cloud communication, OTA update workflows, embedded security, and data acquisition. •Investigate, root-cause, and resolve complex production issues across distributed and embedded systems. •Ensure engineering quality through coding standards, design reviews, test automation, and performance optimization. •Partner cross-functionally with systems analysts, platform teams, cloud teams, and other stakeholders to improve reliability, scalability, and operational performance. •Team Leadership, Mentoring, and Supervision Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. •Demonstrated success in designing, developing, and debugging complex embedded software systems. •Strong proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting. •Strong knowledge of debugging, simulation, profiling, and system optimization techniques. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear technical documentation. •Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and manage team performance. •Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
