The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in embedded programming and enough electrical engineering knowledge to troubleshoot real systems using schematics, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment. •This position is open to candidates ranging from talented new graduates to experienced embedded software engineers. Responsibilities and technical leadership opportunities will scale with experience. •Develop embedded software and firmware in Rust or C/C++ for real-time control systems. •Integrate software with sensors, actuators, motor controllers, communications interfaces, and other hardware. •Develop and test communications between embedded devices and higher-level control systems. •Debug hardware/software interactions using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. •, through professional work, internships, coursework, research, or personal projects. •Understanding of embedded systems and basic electrical engineering concepts. •Demonstrated capacity to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot hardware/software interfaces. •Operational familiarity with common embedded interfaces or protocols such as Ethernet, I2C, UART/RS-232/422, or similar •Strong problem-solving skills and interest in hands-on hardware/software development. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. •STM32 or other ARM-based microcontrollers. •Embedded Rust or C/C++ firmware development. •Ethernet, UDP/TCP, EtherCAT, or other real-time communications.
