Required Skills: •Silvus is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer reporting to the Team Lead, Electronics Design on the Hardware Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will actively participate in all aspects of the testing of digital hardware for Silvus’ StreamCaster MANET product line. •This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA. •The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion. •Using electronics test equipment to evaluate system performance, evaluate compliance compatibility and troubleshoot operation issues. •Carry out hardware test execution and generate status and test reports. •Define verification matrix and internal specifications of performance. •Review test result data to ensure that actual performance meets expected requirements. •Review and recommend improvements to existing test strategies. Qualifications: •Would you like to join an incredibly talented group of people, doing very challenging work, with the prime directive of “ •Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. •Hands-on experience using test equipment such as bench top power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers. •Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts. •All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test. •Test automation using Python or LabView. •Knowledge of guidelines for PCB layout. •Audio testing and characterization experience. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide a clear summary of test status and any issues to the broader team. •Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and work on several projects concurrently.
