Required Skills: •Designs electronics for various OLED technology products and demo applications. •Designs circuitry and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using schematic design software. •Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products. •Performs extensive testing and validation of designs independently or collaboratively to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved. •Orders electronics materials and parts needed from preferred vendors and keeps an organized inventory of the parts. •Assembles parts in the research lab using various materials such as solder, and/or uses various tools in the machine shop. May use additive manufacturing techniques (such as 3D printing). •Uses schematic design software to design and draw circuits. •Troubleshoots IC/PCB design with appropriate test and lab equipment.
