The successful individual in this role will participate in the development of Silvus’ MANET radios and other advanced R&D projects with an emphasis on Electronics Hardware/PCBA design. •This position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. •The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion. •Component selection, schematic capture and PCB design of multi-layer PCBs (4-12 layers). •Wiring diagram creation for radio wiring harnesses •Validate that new PCB and harness designs meet design requirements •Follow best practices to achieve successful mixed signal PCB and harness design. Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field. •Minimum two (2) years of experience in multi-layer PCB design. •Strong familiarity with test equipment such as DMM, bench top supply, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer. •Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts. •All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test. •Competency with simulation tools for high speed digital design and power supply design. •Proven experience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs and the Vivado IDE. •Knowledge of compliance standards such as FCC, CE Mark and MIL-STD-461. •Demonstrated capacity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. •Problem-solving, data analysis, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
