Required Skills: •Design and develop electrical harnesses, mechanical enclosures, brackets, and other electromechanical components for rocket engines and test equipment. •Create and maintain 3D harness routing models and mechanical component models. •Generate detailed engineering drawings, harness drawings, bills of materials, and other design documentation. •Develop assembly and installation work instructions for electromechanical hardware. •Perform basic mechanical and electrical design analyses to support design decisions. •Evaluate harness routing, clearances, bend radii, strain relief, mounting, thermal exposure, and mechanical loads. •Actively facilitate and support selection and trade of harness components, materials, connectors, backshells, clamps, protective sleeving, and related hardware. •Interface directly with manufacturing and technicians to support fabrication, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of electromechanical hardware. Qualifications: •B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. •2+ years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent academic/project experience. •Operational familiarity with electrical and mechanical design principles and engineering documentation. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. •Understanding of basic harness manufacturing and assembly techniques. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with manufacturing, technicians, test engineers, and other engineering disciplines. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently on assigned engineering tasks while seeking guidance on complex or unfamiliar problems.
