Hiring: Electro Mechanical Specialist Company: Nestlé Location: Cleveland, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:02:36 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, PLC, Prometheus, SAP About the job Required Skills: •Second shift , weekdays, 2pm- 10.30 pm •Accountable for the daily implementation of maintenance activities in accordance with established standards through validation and oversight throughout the shift. •Coordinate daily technical execution, clarify priorities, balance planned and break-in work, match assignments to validated skills, and escalate barriers and technical or personnel matters to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager when necessary. •Lead complex breakdown response by establishing safe conditions, organizing parallel diagnostics, communicating status, estimated restoration time, and risk, validating restoration, and ensuring that permanent follow-up work is created. •Coach technicians during troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and commissioning; reinforce systematic diagnosis, build equipment-specific capability, support qualification pathways, and preserve critical knowledge across shifts. •Provide advanced support for power, control, and safety circuits; motors; VFDs; servo systems; PLCs/HMIs; remote I/O; instrumentation; industrial networks; process systems; and precision mechanical maintenance within qualification and change-control requirements. •Compile end-of-shift metrics, including executed versus non-executed work, downtime events and root causes, incident reports, crew labor utilization, and other measures required to demonstrate compliance with Maintenance Foundations. •Participate in shift-handover meetings at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring effective communication and thorough transfer of ongoing issues and pass-on work orders. Qualifications: •Certifications: One or more relevant professional certifications, such as Mechatronics, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT), ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST), NFPA 70E electrical-safety training, or Rockwell Automation controls training, are preferred. •Demonstrates strong leadership capability by guiding and mentoring maintenance teams, fostering collaboration with other departments, and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. •Motivates team members, delegates tasks appropriately, and provides constructive feedback to help ensure maintenance activities align with organizational goals and standards. •Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. •Adapts effectively to shifting priorities and emerging technologies. •Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting capability, and maintenance expertise; possesses comprehensive knowledge of Nestlé facilities and production-maintenance equipment; and resolves complex issues with minimal supervision. •Demonstrates a thorough understanding of and commitment to Nestlé Maintenance Foundations. •Uses software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP/Prometheus, Power BI, DMO, and other systems, to enhance productivity and facilitate effective communication.
