Required Skills: •Refine electrical estimating processes and templates to improve accuracy and efficiency, working cross-functionally to capture best construction practices, productivity data, and crew resource requirements for solar (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) construction. •Develop, refine, and maintain project cost estimates aligned with RFP requirements for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, from conceptual estimates through advanced design packages. •Maintain a database of applicable means and methods, components, and associated productivity rates. •Partner cross-functionally with business development, engineering, procurement, operations, and project delivery teams to develop winning bid strategies and optimize project costs. •Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to enhance estimate reliability and competitiveness. •Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and leadership updates. •Conduct site visits as needed and prepare detailed reports that improve estimate accuracy and project planning. •Knowledge of cost estimating best practices and estimating tools or software, such as Accubid, InEight, or similar platforms.
