Required Skills: •We are seeking a Electrical Engineer to design and conduct analyses supporting the development of battery packs, chargers, and safety systems. The engineer will lead the concept phase, design activities, and report on design progress with limited supervision. •Perform complete electrical design including schematics, layout, DFM with the PCBA supplier, and BOM generation. •Conduct worst case circuit analysis and perform de-ratings for the entire electrical design. •Design and document robust hardware architecture and structure for high reliability applications. •Lead electrical hardware component selection and optimization for microcontrollers and battery/charger management devices. •Provide sustaining support to existing products and collaborate in a cross-functional team for electrical system level integration and manufacturability. •Utilize Electrical DFMEAs to ensure product compliance with customer specifications and requirements. •Construct prototypes, evaluate their performance, and identify possible improvements. Qualifications: •Knowledge of DFMEA and circuit analysis. •Operational familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes. •This is a Permanent position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
