Hiring: Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure Company: Saronic Technologies Location: Austin, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:21:00 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD About the job Experience: •5+ years of design, commissioning, and/or construction of electrical systems for industrial and manufacturing projects including high, medium, and low voltage systems. Required Skills: •Own the development and maintenance of electrical, power distribution, lighting, design and construction standards for the company. •Participate in the early programming and development of various capital project scopes of work and documentation of project requirements with a focus on electrical systems. •Support development and issuance of requests for proposals and qualifications for various capital projects to 3rd party engineers, architects, design-build contractors and general contractors. •Review and comment on 3rd party electrical designs for capital projects and provide owner based subject matter specialist (SMS) input and direction to internal and external teams. •Provide internal design, system, equipment sizing, and design documentation on small capital projects as needed. •Complete field visits during capital construction projects to represent owner and observe general electrical installation and commissioning activities. •Design management of small capital projects as needed. •Travel anticipated to be up to 10% of the time for project specific visits. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or greater in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or a related field. •Strong knowledge of building and energy codes including but not limited to IBC, IECC, IFC, IEEE, NEC, and NFPA as well as associated industry standards and code referenced technical guidelines. •Proficient in developing design standards, technical project requirements documents, requests for proposals. Experience with completing 3rd party design reviews and directing engineering, production and construction teams. •Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred. •Demonstrated success developing innovative solutions to a broad range of electrical engineering problems. •Design management experience preferred.
