The role offers the opportunity to take designs from concept through fabrication, procurement, integration, and test. •Lead cable, harness, and electrical interconnect designs for prototype systems and programs •Develop system- and unit-level electrical interconnection and power distribution schemes •Create design concepts, block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable/harness fabrication drawings •Utilize 2D and 3D CAD tools to develop and document designs •Perform basic engineering calculations and select appropriate components, connectors, and hardware •Support procurement, fabrication, assembly, and system-level integration •Partner cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, systems, and other engineering disciplines Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR an associate degree/bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline plus 5+ years of relevant electrical interconnection design experience •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment •Strong technical communication, organization, and problem-solving skills •Wire types, sizing, and derating •Electrical fabrication and assembly techniques •Operational familiarity with NASA, military, ASME, and/or IEEE standards and specifications Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
