Required Skills: •Design electrical control systems for custom automated machinery and equipment. •Develop panel layouts, electrical schematics, wire run lists, BOMs, specifications, and supporting documentation. •Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for machine control and automation applications. •Develop programs using Ladder Logic and Structured Text. •Define controls requirements for automated equipment, tooling, material handling, and coordinated machine movements. •Select and integrate motors, drives, sensors, safety components, and other industrial control hardware. •Interface directly with vendors and subcontractors to evaluate and integrate specialty components. •Support machine assembly, integration, testing, startup, and troubleshooting. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred. •PLC and HMI programming experience. Experience with Allen-Bradley, AutomationDirect, Panasonic, or similar platforms is highly desirable. •Understanding of industrial electrical systems, safety circuits, controls, and machine safety components. •FANUC robotics experience is beneficial but not required. •Operational familiarity with OSHA, CE, and CSA requirements is preferred. •Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. •Interested in hearing more?
