Hiring: Electrical Build Engineer Company: Saronic Technologies Location: Franklin, LA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:21:00 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, CAD, Root Cause Analysis, SolidWorks About the job Required Skills: •Assist in the design, analysis, and installation of electrical systems for ASVs, including power distribution, control systems, wiring harnesses, cable routing, electrical panels, and sensor integration •Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams to perform CAD modeling, analysis, and system optimization •Operate as liaison between engineering, drafting, and production teams to resolve technical challenges during construction •Identify and resolve non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive resolution via IRBs (Issue Review Boards) and rework plans •Lead and coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)—ensure traceability, communication, implementation, and verification •Actively facilitate and support integration of autonomous navigation and control systems into vessel designs •Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on system architecture and performance •Support documentation including technical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and as-built records for internal use, regulatory bodies, and client presentations Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Electrical Systems, Ocean Engineering, or a related field •Operational familiarity with maritime industry electrical standards including ABS, IEEE 45, ABYC, and US Coast Guard electrical regulations •Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering principles including power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, and marine electrical systems •Strong knowledge of electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical) •Deep familiarity with interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams •Understanding of wire sizing, circuit protection, grounding, bonding, and marine electrical safety practices •Strong communication skills across engineers, electricians, technicians, quality teams, and leadership •Comfortable working in an industrial shipyard environment with hands-on electrical troubleshooting Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
