Hiring: Electrical & Automation Engineer Company: Nestlé Location: Jonesboro, AR Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 17:57:08 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Electrical Distribution Systems, Automation Systems, PLC, HMI, Industrial Networks, Instrumentation & Calibration, MES, Digital Systems, Rockwell, Wonderware/Aveva, Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, Capital Projects, Sustainability, Asset Management, Food & Beverage / CPG Manufacturing Experience: - Preference for experience in a manufacturing facility within the Food and Beverage industry or other Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry - Experience participating in engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team - Knowledge of electrical distribution systems (low, medium, and high voltage installations) - Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards - Knowledge of instrumentation and calibration processes - Good knowledge of automation systems and equipment (HMI, PLC, industrial networks, etc.), with preference for Rockwell and Wonderware/Aveva systems - Knowledge of processing operations and technology - Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills - Strong communication skills - Great collaboration mindset - Proactive thinking - Self-management following objectives Required Skills: - Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical, automation, MES, and digital systems - Assist in troubleshooting efforts and execution of projects within the electrical and automation engineering domain - Assist in developing technical documentation and specifications - Participate in procurement processes and support programming tasks - Contribute to assembly and commissioning activities - Provide technical expertise and training to operators and technicians - Support maintenance strategies, tools, and methodologies at the site level - Ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems - Utilize digital technologies to drive reliability and process improvements - Ensure E&A installations comply with safety, health, environment, and quality standards - Maintain up-to-date documentation, including electrical drawings and automation documentation - Manage change processes for modifications involving E&A systems - Participate in factory sustainability objectives, including energy and water savings initiatives - Support tracking and reporting of improvement project results - Assist in asset management, including identifying end-of-life and replacement requirements - Support capital investment projects involving the E&A area - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects with expected quality, on time, and within budget Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree preferred - Professional Engineer license (P.E.) is a plus - Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is a plus - This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship Compensation: - Salary: $85,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year - Bonus Eligibility: Yes - Performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, including a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits - Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
