Hiring: EHS Supervisor Company: Eaton Location: Greenwood, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 09:32:45 Target Skills & Keywords : CPT, Change Management, Elasticsearch About the job Experience: •4 years or more of experience in Environmental, Health, or Safety in a manufacturing environment or a combination of those functions Required Skills: •Champions and leads projects designed to effectively drive improvements in our “Zero Incident Safety Culture” program(s) Drive and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site. •Facilitate risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Work with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks. •Partners with other functional support/engineering teams to ensure plant projects, changes, upgrades and modifications adhere to and meet the PROLaunch and MESH “Change Management” processes; assists Operational Excellence engineering team with building and grounds capital projects as required. •Actively facilitate and support creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results. •Create and facilitates EHS engagement through the Safety Committee, safety related kaizen events, and weekly Gemba walks needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year. •Compiles and analyzes MESH data for capturing in Eaton’s Safety database to include corrective action tracking and MESH scoring; produces data for monthly balanced scorecard based on MESH corrective action completion and incident rates. •Review plant environmental permits and ensures terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensures required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agency, e.g., air discharge permits, storm water discharge permits, local waste water permits. •Interface directly with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance of EHS local, state and federal regulations. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required •Minimum of one year supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment. •Minimum of 4 years or more of experience in Environmental, Health, or Safety in a manufacturing environment or a combination of those functions •Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
