This role supports high-profile and high-demand projects where exceptional safety performance is critical. •10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or comparable high-risk environments. Required Skills: •The EHS Specialist II is an experienced safety professional with 5–10+ years of field and program management experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, or similarly complex work environments. This role supports high-profile and high-demand projects where exceptional safety performance is critical. •Champion Forgen’s Core Values and drive an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture across assigned projects. •Provide advanced EHS leadership and support to high-risk or high-visibility projects. •Lead site safety inspections, field audits, and complex hazard assessments; ensure corrective actions are implemented. •Develop, review, and refine project HASPs and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs). •Lead or assist complex incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action development. •Serve as a key liaison between Forgen, subcontractors, clients, regulators, and third-party auditors. •Mentor and support EHS Specialists I, EHS Technicians, and site personnel. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction, or a related field. •5–10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or comparable high-risk environments. •Proven ability to lead field teams and influence safety culture. •Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems. •Competent Person training (excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, confined space) •BCSP certification strongly preferred (e.g., CHST, CSP) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
