Required Skills: •We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee safety and environmental operations at our Thomson, GA manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to Shaw's policies, procedures, and industry best practices. •This person will work closely with various teams to foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, ensuring that our facility operates within all regulatory frameworks and maintains the highest standards of safety and environmental integrity. •Lead and oversee supervising EHS Technician, and other safety focused teams. •Develop, manage and own the SAFE system and safety compliance related elements that are applicable to the facility. •Create safety programs for the facility that are consistent with corporate programs and systems. Implementation of the residential safety culture to achieve desired teammate driven safety environment. •Ensure that all associate training is provided to meet SAFE and OSHA requirements. •Understand and support all SAFE, SMS, TPM, Lean Six Sigma, and Environmental efforts. •Oversee and manage all aspects of RCRA regulations to maintain Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator status. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field (equivalent experience and an associate's degree may be considered). •Solid functional working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. •Previous leadership experience is required. •Manufacturing EHS leadership experience. •Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills. •8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
