Required Skills: •Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of construction safety programs across active project sites. •Provide leadership and oversight to site safety professionals, ensuring consistent execution of safety policies and procedures. •Partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to integrate safety planning into construction activities and project execution. •Conduct safety audits, site assessments, and program evaluations to identify risks and implement corrective actions. •Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations. •Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence. •Develop and deliver safety training programs, orientations, and leadership coaching for field personnel and contractors. •Actively facilitate and support development and execution of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. •8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. •Demonstrated experience managing safety programs within complex construction environments. •Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. •Demonstrated capacity to influence safety culture and drive compliance across cross-functional teams. •OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required. •STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel. •Additional professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or related credentials. •Demonstrated capacity to walk and stand for extended periods on active construction sites.
