Hiring: Educational Specialist Company: Pacific Clinics Location: Porterville, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:46:10 About the job Required Skills: •Assesses students' interests, talents, aptitude, abilities, and personality characteristics for the purpose of vocational and educational planning to help youth establish appropriate academic and career goals. •Collects, organizes, and analyzes student information through records, tests, interviews and professional sources to provide educational and vocational guidance and counseling. •Provides educational and vocational support and guidance in helping students with their education and vocational plans. •Attends and advocates for school services for the student at Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) or other meetings. •Compiles and studies occupational, educational, and economic information to aid students in making and carrying out educational and vocational objectives. •Assists individuals to understand and overcome social and emotional problems impacting their educational and vocational objectives. •Attends, supports and advocates for students and family members in academic and IEP meetings. •Refers students to placement services and other educational and vocational community resources.
