Required Skills: •Assess current ECM/EDMS environments, repositories, workflows, integrations, and system dependencies. •Support integration analysis between ECM platforms and enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, GIS, finance, permitting, HR, or records systems. •Review APIs, connectors, data flows, authentication models, access controls, and interface requirements. •Document current-state technical architecture and identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities. •Support future-state ECMS architecture recommendations, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid options. •Interface directly with functional leads, records management teams, IT stakeholders, and vendors to define integration and technical requirements. •Assist with migration planning, metadata mapping, testing strategy, and implementation readiness. •Support vendor and System Integrator evaluation by reviewing proposed technical approaches, integration strategy, staffing, and risk controls. Qualifications: •7+ years of experience with ECM, EDMS, document management, workflow, or enterprise integration projects. •Practical experience utilizing platforms such as OpenText AppEnhancer, IBM FileNet, IBM Datacap, Laserfiche, SharePoint, OnBase, Documentum, or similar systems. •Strong knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP services, XML/JSON, middleware, identity/access management, and enterprise application integration. •Experience documenting current-state and future-state architecture. •Understanding of metadata, taxonomy, records retention, document capture, workflow automation, and migration concepts. •Demonstrated capacity to work with business users, IT teams, records stakeholders, vendors, and project managers. •Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. •Public-sector, local government, utility, healthcare, financial services, or regulated-industry experience. •Experience supporting ECM/EDMS assessment, replacement analysis, vendor selection, or System Integrator evaluation. •Operational familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, cloud migration, security, compliance, and accessibility requirements.
