Required Skills: •Job Title: DVT Engineer – Liquid Cooling •If you enjoy hands-on engineering work, running tests, troubleshooting systems, and supporting product validation in a fast-paced lab environment, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to next-generation liquid cooling technology for AI-driven datacenters. •Is responsible for executing Design Verification Testing (DVT) activities to ensure liquid cooling products meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements. This role is focused on test execution, data collection, and real-time troubleshooting. •The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate product performance, support Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and ensure consistent, high-quality test results. •This position requires collaboration across mechanical, electrical, controls, process, and manufacturing engineering in a fast-paced lab environment, with a strong emphasis on independent execution during off-shift operations. •Execute Design Verification Tests (DVT) according to established test plans and procedures. •Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment and liquid cooling systems during second shift operations. •Ensure proper system configuration, instrumentation setup, and test readiness prior to execution. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). •1–4 years of experience in test engineering, lab operations, or product validation. •Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer systems. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and basic electrical schematics. •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. •Operational familiarity with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation. •Exposure to ASHRAE testing or similar performance validation methods. •Basic understanding of controls systems or PLC operation. •The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
