Hiring: Drop Installation Supervisor Company: Stimulus Technologies | Managed IT Services Location: Henderson, NV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 12:18:01 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Slack, Stimulus About the job Experience: •Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with fiber optic drop installation or OSP construction. •Minimum 6 months of experience leading or supervising field construction or installation crews, or demonstrated readiness to do so. •Strong working knowledge of fiber optic drop installation methods, materials, and best practices for both aerial and buried applications. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret construction drawings, splice schematics, and drop assignment maps. •Demonstrated capacity to travel up to 100% for project assignments. Required Skills: •As a Drop Supervisor, you lead your own in-house drop installation crew in the field every day, working alongside your team to connect subscribers to the network. You own the performance of your crew and the safety of your job sites, setting the pace, holding the standard, and stepping in whenever a job needs a hand or a problem needs solving. •Your crew is doing the hands-on work that turns Stimulus's SLFRF and BEAD-funded fiber builds into active, connected service across rural Nevada. You report to the Drop Installation Manager, who sets overall crew strategy and coordinates across multiple crews and project areas; you own the day-to-day leadership and execution of your specific crew. •For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to run your own crew, lead from the front, and be known for quality and safety on every job while staying close to the tools. •Plan and direct daily drop installation activities for your crew within assigned work areas. •Ensure all subscriber drop installations completed by your crew meet Stimulus Technologies installation standards, project specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. •Track your crew's daily production against grant-mandated and program-specific timelines; flag at-risk areas to the Drop Installation Manager. •Coordinate day-to-day scheduling with the Drop Installation Manager to align with network readiness and service activation milestones. •Conduct quality inspections of your crew's completed drop installations to verify workmanship, proper routing, adequate slack storage, and correct labeling and documentation.
