Required Skills: •As a Drafter, you will be responsible for NOV Hydra Rig's drafting needs, working closely with engineers and designers. Your primary task will be to transform red lines or sketches into precise manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. This role is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and requires timely completion of drafting tasks as per project schedules. •Create detailed manufacturing drawings from red lines or sketches provided by engineers/designers. •Utilize SolidWorks software to produce accurate and precise technical drawings. •Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and NOV's quality requirements. •Partner cross-functionally with the engineering team to understand design intent and incorporate feedback. •Maintain accurate records and documentation for each drafting project. •Adhere to project timelines and communicate any potential delays or issues promptly. •Assist in the development of standard drafting procedures and best practices. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of SolidWorks is required. •Minimum of 3 years of experience in a drafting role, preferably in the oil and gas industry. •High School Diploma or GED Required •Degree/Diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred. •In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings. •Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting. •Good communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word. •Operational familiarity with other CAD software is an advantage.
