The role will support all project phases, with a particular focus in detailed engineering. •With minimal supervision, assists lead designers & engineers with basic design & drafting of various disciplines from verbal direction & redlines, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff and operating procedures of the company •Field verification in existing facilities by either traditional measuring techniques and/or 3D Laser Scanning •Lead and oversee assistance in preparation of design drawings and sketches utilizing 3D modeling software and Laser Scans with directions from lead designers & engineers Qualifications: •Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology or design drafting preferred. Candidates without a degree, but with exceptional experience, will also be considered •High proficiency in using Autodesk based CAD systems •Microsoft Word and Excel. 3D design and modeling experience preferred.
