Lewisville, Texas Distribution Center is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Distribution. This position reports to the VP of Distribution. •This position will directly oversee all distribution operations at the Lewisville Distribution Center (with a footprint of more than 400,000 square feet) •In partnership with VP of Distribution will drive the strategy, goals and priorities, down to the operations team, while maintaining an agile approach that allows us to adapt as business conditions change •Driving a Performance and Continuous Improvement Culture •Communicate, track and partner with the IT Business Analysts to develop meaningful solutions to keep up with the ever changing landscape of the business •Working with the Operations Managers, this role will troubleshoot day-to-day problems and identify long-term resolutions •Research operational inefficiencies and make procedural or systematic recommendations to other members of the Logistics leadership team. •Communicate clear goals, expectations, and standards to the Operations teams on an on-going basis, including varying levels of communication for direct reports, support teams, associates, cross-functional teams and executive level updates as needed Qualifications: •Four year degree, preferably in the areas of Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering (or equivalent work experience) •Applicable management experience (5+ years as an Operations Manager preferred) •Strong experience with WMS (Manhattan preferred) and JDE •Extensive experience working in environment that includes Voice Pick Technology & software, RF. Labor Standards and Slotting. •Strong experience with performance metrics and process improvement •Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgement in stressful situations •Demonstrated capacity to motivate others with strong conflict management and problem-solving skills •Must be available and flexible for a variety of hours. Business demands will include overnight, weekends and holidays at times.
