Any orders that the shipping team is unable to ship according to schedule must be communicated to the Distribution Center Manager and/or Assistant Manager immediately. •Utilize shipping software for the proper manifesting of both small parcels (FedEx and UPS), as well Less than Truckload (LTL) shipments •Knowledge of Dry Ice declaration for frozen shipments a plus •Utilize a Transportation Management System for the scheduling of Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments, as well as preparation of Bills of Lading •Delivers “walk-in” orders to customers •Ensure all packing supplies (boxes, wrap, gel packs, Dry Ice) are available at all shipping stations for the duration of each shift and are replenished for the start of the next shipping day. •In the absence of the Distribution Center Manager or Assistant, assigns workload to those responsible for the packing and manifesting of the Company’s shipments. •Carries out other duties as may be assigned or requested by the Distribution Center Manager or Assistant Manager.
