Required Skills: •The Backup & Recovery Specialist ensure the resilience and continuity of an organization's Directory Management environment by managing comprehensive backup solutions, developing disaster recovery plans, and executing recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss. •Implementation, schedule, and monitor regular backups for Active Directory (AD), domain controllers, LDAP, and other Directory Management related systems. •Develop, document, and test detailed DR plans and procedures for Directory Management systems (AD, ARS, LDAP, VDS, VMWare, Entra…), including failover strategies and business continuity. •Perform data restoration from backups, troubleshooting issues with corrupted or lost AD objects (users, groups, GPOs) as well as other related applications. •Conduct regular drills and testing to validate backup integrity and recovery processes, ensuring RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) targets are met. •Implement security measures for backup data, manage encryption, and ensure compliance with data protection policies. •Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate reports on backup success rates and system health. •Interface directly with other IT teams (Network, Systems, Security) to integrate Directory Management backup solutions and support broader infrastructure.
