Hiring: Director, UX Research Company: NBCUniversal Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:11:35 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems, User Experience About the job Experience: •10+ years of experience in consumer product research or consumer insights Required Skills: •Consulting and advising cross functional partners on their research questions and selecting the right methods and tools to answer them •Owning and driving your research roadmap, ensuring stakeholder and product needs are met and well aligned to achieve organizational goals •Conducting research across the product lifecycle via unmoderated prototype tests, lab studies, online interviews, observational tests, surveys, benchmark studies, diary studies, and more •Managing complex schedules across multiple projects at one time to ensure on time delivery •Setting new standards for methodological rigor and research excellence •Crafting memos and reports that make complex ideas simple, surface timely insights, clearly communicate key learnings, and drive strategic and actionable recommendations •Influencing strategic and tactical product roadmaps with cross-functional leadership •Mentoring and coaching other researchers Qualifications: •Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g., in-depth interviews, surveys, prototype tests, card sorts, diary studies, focus groups, correlation analyses, etc.) •Demonstrated success using data and insights to influence business decisions and drive strategic product value via stakeholder influence •Balancing ownership of multiple projects simultaneously while leading broader initiatives •Excellent at digging into data to identify insights beyond what’s visible on the surface and connecting findings back to underlying questions •Operational familiarity with behavioral data analytics and working with data science and analytics teams •The ability to deftly combine insights across research efforts and behavioral data insights •Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills •A genuine passion for entertainment and media, and a deep curiosity about culture and trends as they relate to products and user experiences •Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis, as well as data visualization •Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with leaders to drive initiatives Compensation: •$175,000 - $200,000 / year •(bonus and long-term incentive eligible Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
