Directs the design of computer-based information systems and reporting, ensuring that projects are feasible, technically sound, and aligned with facility objectives. Plans, organizes, and controls the preparation of reporting and information systems to solve identified business and operational problems. •Data governance and stewardship. Establishes and maintains a governance structure for the data the unit publishes, including named data stewards by domain, documented decision rights, and a defined route for resolving conflicting definitions between departments. Convenes governance review on a defined cadence and records decisions. •Data quality monitoring. Establishes recurring monitoring of completeness, timeliness, accuracy, and consistency for the source data feeding published reporting. Reports identified quality defects with a named owner and an elapsed age rather than absorbing them, and tracks each to remediation. •Change control and release management. Controls modification of reports, dashboards, and measure definitions through version control, validation before release, and advance written notice to consuming committees. Ensures that no published measure, calculation, or comparison window changes silently between reporting periods. •Self-service enablement. Extends self-service reporting capability to departments while retaining unit control of certified definitions. Trains and credentials self-service users, publishes the certified measure set available to them, and monitors self-service output for divergence from certified measures. Qualifications: •Epic certification or demonstrated proficiency in the Epic Cogito reporting suite (Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and Radar dashboards). •Demonstrated proficiency authoring, optimizing, and validating SQL queries against relational and dimensional data sources, specifically Epic Clarity and Caboodle data warehouses. •Solid functional working knowledge of ETL processes, dimensional data modeling, and data dictionary maintenance. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and PivotTable analysis. •Leadership & Data Governance •Demonstrated experience establishing data governance, certified measure definitions, or data quality monitoring.
