Hiring: Director, Strategy Engagement Lead Company: Novartis Location: East Hanover, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:21:06 About the job Experience: •8+ years of consulting, corporate strategy, commercial strategy, strategic operations, transformation, or relevant pharma / healthcare experience. •Demonstrated ability to lead 1-2 complex strategy engagements concurrently with senior stakeholders and ambiguous scope. •Strong hypothesis-driven problem solving, facilitation, storylining, analytical synthesis, and influence without authority. Required Skills: •Lead development of strategic framing, issue trees, hypotheses, opportunity sizing, and US commercial enterprise strategy narratives. •Coordinate functional strategy inputs and pressure-test whether functional plans ladder to US commercial enterprise priorities. •Synthesize market, customer, competitor, policy, portfolio, financial, and operating model inputs into clear strategic choices. •Prepare US LT-ready recommendations, strategic options, and trade-off narratives. •Coach AD and Manager resources; ensure analyses, narratives, and stakeholder processes meet executive quality standards. Qualifications: •Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field •Preferred: Advanced degree (Master of Science and/or MBA) •Top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, commercial strategy, project leadership, or transformation experience. •The salary for this position is expected to range between $185,500.00 and $344,500.00 per year. •The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
