Hiring: Director, Safety and Risk Management Company: Crane Schools Location: Yuma, AZ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:44:04 Target Skills & Keywords : Program Management, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management About the job Required Skills: •Include, but are not limited to, the following •Safety, Security and Emergency Management •●       Lead and oversee the District’s comprehensive safety, security, emergency preparedness, and emergency management programs. •●       Serve as the District’s lead for emergency management and oversee the development, review, maintenance, and training of District and school Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs), procedures, protocols, and related emergency preparedness requirements. •●       Coordinate and monitor emergency drills, exercises, disaster planning, and emergency-response activities; maintain required documentation and oversee follow-up and corrective actions. •●       Support Incident Command System (ICS) implementation and training for employees with emergency-management responsibilities. •●       Develop and deliver safety, emergency preparedness, emergency response, and security training for employees, administrators, site safety coordinators, and other District personnel. •●       Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership and guidance in addressing immediate safety and security concerns. Qualifications: •Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in school safety, emergency management, risk management, occupational safety, workers’ compensation, insurance administration, security operations, or a related field. •●       At least two years of supervisory or program-management experience. •Ns Plans, safety training, regulatory compliance, insurance claims, and workers’ compensation programs, drills and emergency exerci ses •Al counsel, and insurance providers •● School safety, emergency preparedness, crisis response, emergency management, Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs), emergency drills, exercises, and Incident Command System (ICS) principles. •● Federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations, including applicable OSHA requirements and regulatory compliance. •● Risk management, loss prevention, workers’ compensation, claims administration, insurance programs, and related risk-reduction practices. •● Accident investigation, root-cause analysis, safety audits, corrective-action planning, and physical security. •● Staff safety training, policy and procedure development, emergency operations, and safety program evaluation.
