We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. •The Risk Practice within VCA advises Visa clients and ecosystem partners on core risk management areas for card portfolio lifecycle management, including prospecting strategies, underwriting, identity risk, authorizations, disputes, credit line management, collections, and fraud operations. •VCA team is looking for an individual to join the Risk Practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions as the leader of our Credit and Identity Risk Practice. •This person will design, implement, and optimize strategies across the credit lifecycle to enhance risk management, improve decision-making, and drive business growth. This role requires deep expertise in credit risk frameworks, and data analytics, with a strong focus on innovation and operational efficiency. •Potential engagements could include credit policy assessment, underwriting strategy design, line management optimization, and bespoke risk management initiatives. Qualifications: •10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD •12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD •Proven experience in credit risk management, consulting frameworks, and credit lifecycle optimization •Strong analytical skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical complexity •Operational familiarity with regulatory compliance, and risk governance policies •Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card acquiring/issuing experience •Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in dynamic environments •Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently •Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills •People-first mindset, team player, experience mentoring junior-level individuals Compensation: •$163,500 - $307,600 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
