Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 15:58:09 Target Skills & Keywords : Portfolio Management, Product Management, Segment About the job Required Skills: •Lead cross-functional, global teams to execute market and product line strategy, including product definition, commercialization, manufacturing, pricing, product lifecycle, and horizon planning. •Drive market segment profitability in line with BU P&L targets, including understanding cost structures and managing in-market pricing. •Build product/technology roadmaps and define market requirements for product development through the stage-gate process to ensure the product pipeline supports future market success. •Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through voice-of-customer and champions across all levels of the organization, and drive new product sampling and adoption with key customers and partners. •Align portfolio management to secure and align resources with key product/market priorities, while making critical decisions and supporting Operations on production priorities and allocation as necessary. •Understand and develop competitive market positioning and market share analysis for assigned markets. •Maintain and update revenue forecasts in alignment with Sales and Operations to drive long-term capacity planning. •Manage and train successful Product Managers in support of individual market segment goals. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or MBA preferred. •Understanding of semiconductor businesses and processes, with a strong foundation in Product Management principles. •Successful track record leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, delivering growth in critical product lines, and managing multiple competing priorities. •Skilled in portfolio and P&L management, with an understanding of key financial metrics that drive broader business and portfolio performance. •Demonstrated capacity to lead broad and complex assignments in support of business goals. •Excellent people management and communication skills, including development, delegation, providing feedback, promoting teamwork, and performance management; strong English-language communication and presentation skills. •Demonstrated capacity to travel globally up to 20% of the time to support internal developments and customer opportunity management, with regular participation in global conference calls outside of normal working hours. •Ensuring a safe working environment that complies with all company policies and practices.
